Die Reise führt ihn nach Andalusien, wo es zwischen 711 und 1492 muslimisch dominierte Reiche gab – wie das Kalifat von Cordoba und das Emirat von Granada. Neben bewaffneten Auseinandersetzungen existierte damals ein Jahrhunderte überdauernder Kulturaustausch und somit das friedliche Zusammenleben zwischen den drei Buchreligionen Judentum, Islam und Christentum: „La Convivencia“. "Morgenland im Abendland" bietet humorvolle Unterhaltung und eine Fülle von interessanten, historischen Tatsachen. |
