Contents:
►How does the collaboration between the creative departments and “production” work?
►How are projects financed? When should things be discussed and agreed?
►Case study: Sudden partial loss of funding. How can the project still be realized and the right priorities be set by the director and producer? How do I stay true to my idea? What do I have to consider if I want to produce my own material as a writer/director? Small indie productions, especially documentaries, often find themselves in this situation.
►Figures & contracts
►Guest lecture on intimacy coordination with Cornelia Dworak (stunt woman and intimacy coordinator)
►Questions, questions, questions. And answers.
Participants are invited to send their projects in development or pre-production in advance and also to bring questions.
Submission: Shooting concept; if available, script and shooting schedule as well as budget considerations
Submission deadline: July 29
The workshop series is supported by the Österreichisches Filminstitut, the Filmfonds Wien and the Verwertungsgesellschaft der Filmschaffenden.
